December 31st - London: Innersense
Pryamid promotions steady traverse through London's clubland reaches a crescendo as they add another 25k to their in-house soundsystem at their end-of-year party at the Lazerdrome in Peckham, south-east London. On the night, residents DJ Probe and the Nut E-1 plus guests Edcase, DJ Randall, Dr S. Gachet, LTJ Bukem, Ray Keithand the Two Bad Mice helped to make Innersense's ravers sweat all night!.
December 31st - Lydd & Derby: World Dance
World Dance's planned party at The Hangar at Lydd Airport in Kent is thrown into disarray as the local Police will not have enough manpower to cover their party. However, those hard-working folk at Kent Police will now be able to hold their Policeman's ball on the same night, yipee!...
In the meanwhile... World Dance find a suitable back-up venue somewhere near Derby but they have to scrap this party as well as they can't find a big enough soundsystem in time for an outdoor event.
Five years on the scene and nine events this year... Raves are passing by the Desire team very quickly as the promoters, Mick and Phil host "the" annual new years party at their brand new venue, The Coliseum in Wandsworth, south London.
December 31st - London: Rush
After a absence of nearly a year, those cockney warehouse boys from Rush team up with Freedom to present their "Together '93" new years party at the old Colgate factory in Hackney, east London.
December 31st - Sydney: Fantazia
As most of us are getting over the excesses of Christmas and enjoying the multitude of new years eve parties in the cold climate of the UK, Fantazia spread their wings to hold their annual year-ending rave "The First Taste - Taking You Into '94" at the State Sports Leisure Centre in Sydney, Australia.
Fantzia's first steps onto Australian shores was witnessed by three thousand guests, congregated inside the venue who came to see live performances from Moby and the Ratpack and DJ sets from Easygroove, DJ Phantasy and a host of top Australian DJ's.
Aussie DJ's Crisis and Quest didn't show up at Fantazia's rave, which left Paul Holden having to pull off a marathon six-hour DJ set!... Another omission from the flyer is Easygroove who didn't make the journey due to a massive case of miscommunication...
