July 8th - Wolverhampton: Amazon
It is going to get very very dark as Amazon opens at the First Base Nightclub in Wolverhampton, west midlands. Vying for the same customers as it will be held on the same night, Amazon will rinse out the midlands with dark jungle and be seen as a direct challenger to Bailey and Peddie's Quest as the best night out in Wolverhampton.
To launch the first party at the Amazon, the organisers will bring in DJ Randall, DJ Ron and DJ Brockie to play alongside local up-and-coming DJ's Dean Alexander and Biggs. The first night will also feature a guest appearance from a local MC called Goldie.
July 9th - London: Desire
With two customary sell-out parties in March and May this year out of the way, promoters Mick and Phil from 2000AD take the Desire roadshow back to Roller Express in Edmonton, north London to present the last of the "Music Experience" parties.
July 15th - Cardiff: Southern Exposure
After announcing their intentions by hosting their first series of events at the Hillside Country Club in Tonyrefail, Mid Glamorgan, organisers Rob and Paula of Southern Exposure move onto the next level as they take their growing following on a musical journey.
Thousands of ravers from all over Wales and the south-west converge in the capital as they host the first of the "Welsh Connection" parties at the Channel View Leisure Centre in Grangetown, Cardiff.
July 15th - Birmingham: Euphoria
One week on from the grand opening of the "Amazon" in Wolftown, the Jungle theme is once again fully represented. Euphoria, a new jungle promoter takes over the reins from the departed Pandemonium as they begin to host their weekly "Club Oblivion" parties at The Institute in Birmingham, west midlands.
July 15th & 16th - Scotland: Fantazia
Fantazia keep themselves busy as promote their two-date "Made In Heaven III" album tour.
Very surprisingly, the organisers make a b-line up north as the dates on this tour only caters for Scottish ravers. This friday, the first leg of the tour will stop at one of the clubs of the moment, the Metro Club in Saltcoats, Ayrshire. One day and seventy miles later, the made in heaven tour moves north-east, so that some more ravers can have their round of Fantazia as the final leg of the tour will make a scheduled stop at the Fubar Club in Stirling, Stirlingshire.
After their Scottish tour, Fantazia will ditch outdoor parties and glowsticks altogether in favor of more mix cd's from the new emerging commercial anti-heroes "House" and "Jungle" which is receiving a huge amount of radio airplay at the moment and seems to be more profitable than hardcore and raves.
